I haven't gotten far with it either. The drive will read all my other games but not Red Alert 3. Problem is that the installation does not run. If issue persists, please reply with information for further assistance. I've never had so many problems with a game.
We understand your pain, because today's software is sometimes is so complicated and interacts with one another that there is always an error after another. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. I think it could be your anti-virus program throwing up those errors I am not very clear what they are telling you but if you can get online and play, that's good news. I have the original copy of this masterpiece, along with an expansion pack. Omigosh, I'm so sorry for starting a new thread over such a common issue.

It comes with problems of its own. I had the same problem as you guys on vista but i solved it by copying all the movie files which needed verifying in my case 2 off the game and put them in a folder i made in my documents. I tried compatibility troubleshooting to all of the proposed operating systems. Problem is that the installation does not run. The files will be different for 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Win10. Windows Firewall is off like one guy has suggested but it makes no difference, same thing happens. Origin also now prompts me that syncing is failing whenever I exit the game.

You should download and install and then just start those games from their ordinary shortcut without using the launcher. I'd recommend making a thread in the over on the Revora forums. I will play many of the other trouble free games I have installed. When I tried hooking the game, by clicking 'hook', 'Red alert 3', then running the game through it's directory exe, I still was not able to connect to the servers to play online. If I don't hear anything soon, I'm going to have to return the game.
Would be great if someone knows how to tackle this. Maybe work on it a bit in my spare time. I suggest you to uninstall this game and then install this game in compatibility mode with earlier version of Windows and check if it works. These were all the exciting features available in this game, Red Alert 2. I saw that about Gentool in the instructions.
